The political section contributes to the strengthening and enhancement of the bilateral relations between the Netherlands and Vietnam. The section reports about developments in the internal and external politics of Vietnam. The political section also monitors the human rights situation in Vietnam and contributes to the EU dialogue with Vietnam on human rights.
